This is a composite of two
paintings. Not satisfied with either painting in itself I have brought them together
here for this greater virtual work. The awkward shape of the virtual canvas is teasing...I
think I like it. In the task of painting the two paintings I found myself hurried,
motivated by numerous small droplets of water dancing lightly upon the canvas, the sky
darkening, my presence on the hill daunting. The moment of capture in such a work is
elusive, but not unattainable.
