On the grounds of the
Agricultural Research Station, looking down a hill to a pump house by a small pond.
To the side are rows where peach saplings are to be planted, to grow into the neatly rowed
stands of trees like the ones in the distance. I have always liked the subtle shadow
cast into the middle ground of this painting.
