My fascination
with run down, tortured, exhausted things, things which have loomed in someone's life at
one time or other, continues. I do not believe in pretty pictures, but I am drawn to
beauty. I traded this painting to a potter friend, who worked alongside Bruce O'dell
in a barn just to the left, for a few dollars and a hand-thrown ceramic with his signature
carved in its base.
